Who is Lucky Ladybug Bowtique?

Who is Lucky Ladybug Bowtique?

When my daughter was born, I was so excited that she was a girl. I couldn't wait to dress up my little girl like my very own live doll. Of course, she would need plenty of bows to match all of the fun and adorble outfits and dresses she got. At first, I just bought a few small plain bows from retail stores, because it was quick, easy, and well, all I knew. I had her wearing some type of bow everyday and I eventually thought, why don't I try to make my own? So here's where I turned my craftiness into a buisness, right? Wrong. I failed. It was so frustratng trying to make the bows look even, the right size, and professional looking. So, I took a break and continued to buy bows from the store to keep my sanity.

Along came my son. As a mom of a newborn, sleep patterns could be sparatic and I found myself up at night pretty often. This is when I figured I'd use my time to research how to make the bows for my daughter. I found a few tutorials and tried a bow or two. They turned out pretty decent, so I began researching more. I became pretty obsessed with it, watching countless tutorials, reading tons of blogs, and viewing lots of websites ALL THE TIME. I soon figured out how to make a quality bow, keep it looking professional, what embelishements to add, and what tools I would need to help speed up the process. I figured why not give it a shot as a crafter, and choose a name for my new business. Lucky Ladybug Bowtique was born.

I am a full-time first grade teacher, wife, mother of two, and crafter. I chose the name Lucky Ladybug Bowtique for my daughter, Allyson. Her room is covered in ladybugs and sometimes you'll catch me calling her allybug or ally-bow-bally. She IS my little ladybug.

I love making bows for Ally, and just as much, I love seeing others get excited to receive a bow from me to put on thier little ladybug. I love being at craft fairs and seeing little girls' smiles get so big because they have found the perfect bow. I hope that I can make the perfect bow for you and your little ladybug too.
